What a private membership association is
An association of members who agree to a common standard and practice it together. Members are not merely an audience. They produce things: charters, ledgers, records, decisions, systems, and the discipline of keeping them properly.
The association supplies instruments, cadence, review, community, and a framework for progression. The member supplies the doing.
What membership confers
